The Chapel
The Chapel Deloraine was built in 1863 and is the original Baptist Chapel for the community of Deloraine.
It was used by the church until the 1880's when the existing Tabernacle was constructed near today's Railway Park. Originally just the church, the building has had an entry (now the kitchen) and a toilet bock added (now the bathroom) over the last 100 years or so. Its was used widely by the community after its role as a church was concluded until sold in the 1950's when it was then converted to a private residence.
Michael & Gayle purchased the Chapel in 2016 and have completely renovated the building and its garden over the last 18 months keeping its heritage roots intact.
